Ronald Schafer on July 16th, 2010 at the age of 77. Services will be Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster with Pastor Bradley C. Dews officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services (6:00 - 7:00). A private family interment will take place at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either: Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, Ohio or Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, Ohio. She is survived by A. Ronald Schafer, her daughter, Terrie Lynne Norwood; sisters, Erma Pitman and Orpha Anderson, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Walter J. Norwood, Ashley J. Norwood and Brandy Lynne Miller and her fuzzy buddy, "Bailey". In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Ray, Russell, Roscoe, Hazen Paul, Howard, Millard and Brooks Griffin; sisters, Lula Cox Hamrick, Lucille Lochey O'Dell and Carolyn Winkler. Mom, Ellyn, since you've left us, we've tried to imagine if you're dancing around in Jesus' arms, or are you sitting at His feet in awe of His love and beauty? Are you still hugging Granddad and Grandma and all your siblings you've so missed? Are you smelling the heavenly flowers? Are you hugging all the animals?
