Condolences

Condolence From: Jean Graham
Condolence: Katie was a ball of energy the entire time I have known her (since the 70's). I don't think anyone ever walked away a stranger as she was friendly, kind and loving. She served me up lunch at WCH for over 20 some years. Never saw her unhappy, never heard an unkind word out of her mouth and she always had me walking away smiling. Will miss her but will celebrate her long life as a blessing to us all. Jeanie Rochester

Condolence From: Susan Vitaro
Condolence: I've seen Kate around for years, but saw her almost weekly when she went to West View. She was always friendly, happy, smiling. My husband's family knew her through Oak Chapel Methodist Church, where they were members when they lived in Jefferson. My sympathy to the family. Susan Vitaro

Condolence From:
Condolence: Katie was a wonderful friend to our mother/mother-in-law, Kitty Chia, and they had so much fun together at West View Healthy Living. A photo of the two in the dining hall is attached. Katie always wanted to share the latest Oreo cookie variety with Kitty and gave us many samples. Katie was truly the one who made the dining hall at West View lively beyond measure and so much fun for all the residents. I know that those at her table were always worried the times she was not well, but Katie gave everyone a lift when she bounced back. She showed everyone by example how to face the trials of life with a hopeful and caring outlook. Good-bye Katie. Rest in peace. You will always be in our hearts as a most lovable and spirited great lady, with the best sense of humor in the world. Pei-hsin and David Gedalecia
