Obituary for Larry D. Swinehart

Larry D. Swinehart, age 73, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Friday morning, July 1, 2016 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 26, 1943 in Millersburg, Ohio to Lawrence and Dorothy (Tharp) Swinehart.
He started out working as a milk truck driver and then in 1962, he worked for Regal Ware in Wooster and then relocated to Jacksonville, Arkansas where he worked as a Supervisor before retiring after many years of service with the company.
He married Shirley A. Miller on January 3, 1982 in Holmes County. She survives.
He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas and was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kathleen S. (Willet) Rose and Geraldine Farnham all of Holmes County, Allison (Mike) Spillman of Millersburg and Eddy Swinehart of Millersburg; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Marks of Millersburg, Betty (Owen) Beachy of Clark, Oh., Sandy (Ronnie) Scherer and Gary Swinehart all of Holmesville; step-sons, James R. (Caroline) Miller of West Salem and Jamie R. Miller of Apple Creek; a step-granddaughter, Anna Marie Miller of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Laci Farnham; sisters, Martha Baughman and Edith Arnold, and brothers, Leroy and Lewis Swinehart.
It was his wishes there be private services which will take place at the convenience of the family.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
