Condolences

Condolence From: Susy
Condolence: Mom, I know that I told you over and over again but I will say it once more, you were and are a wonderful woman and Mother. I worked so hard to help you have the kind of life that you wanted. You said that you wanted to live in the house that you and Dad built and that you wanted to die there among the memories. I worked so hard to give you that last request and I would not change a thing that I did for you. I only wish that I could have done more. I loved spending time with you and cherish every memory. We sure had some great, fun times. I will write about them someday. That is what I wanted to tell you, Mom, remember that conversation that we had where I told you about my dreams? Well, they are coming true. I am a writer. Now that you and Dad are in Heaven, I have found time to write my stories. You sparked that in me when I was just four years old. Those pictures that I drew and the little stories that I wrote, I still have them because you preserved them for me. What a wonder gesture. I know that you did not want a funeral but that was a hard request to keep. You said that if anyone wanted to visit you that they could do it when you were alive. You were right. Even some family members said that they did not see when they could change their schedules for your graveside service. I am ashamed to call them family. We are having a service and will place your ashes beside Dad like I promised. I have given them two years to give me a date. No one has contacted me so I will put it in the newspaper and call them one more time. Then it is all on them. It is too bad that they did not know you, the real you. They really missed out on a very beautiful person.
