Condolences

Condolence From: janet geissmann
Condolence: Too soon. Dick lived a life to it's fullest with a smile and chuckle often filling his face. I had many good times with Uncle Dick as a very young child in Ohio, on his trips to California, and our family trips to Ohio. It is too soon to say good bye to him. I am forever thankful of his marriage that brought wonderful new cousins to my sisters and I. My sincere sympathy is with my aunts, uncles, cousins, their children, and his dear friend.

Condolence From: Jonnie Jill Phipps
Condolence: Here is a poem I wrote in honor of my dad, Dick Grove. Written by Jonnie Jill My Journey Over forty years driving down the road Meeting new friends, keeping the old Spreading humor to those who take orders As I crossed the many state borders Serving me coffee with a glass of ice And extra napkins to make it nice Over two million miles of safe driving Enjoying the journey while surviving Retirement is nightly games – not hard Another 25 years behind a deck of cards Going for a loner – being so bold Meeting new friends, keeping the old Eating out at my favorite places Spreading humor brings smiles to their faces Serving me coffee with a glass of ice And extra napkins to make it nice Remember the good times, and this please know I’ve played my last hand and it’s time to go In memory of my dad, Dick Grove, by Jonnie Jill

Condolence From: Susan Shie
Condolence: Dear Sam, Mandy, Jill, Amy, and family. I send all of you comfort and love, with the passing of Dick. Both of my parents died at age 84, and as soon as they were gone, I felt them as much younger again, in thinking of them. May all of you be there for each other and hold Dick and Verna closely in your hearts. I know you already do. Love, Susi Shie, susanshie@gmail.com.
