Obituary for William R. "Bill" Zerrer

William R. Zerrer, age 82, of Smithville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital following a sudden illness.
Services will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at Orrville Grace Brethren Church, 2200 Paradise Rd., Orrville, with Pastor Isaac Graham and Pastor Del Miller officiating followed by interment at Smithville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday (this evening) also at the church from 6 - 8 p.m.
Custer-Glenn Funeral home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster is honored with serving the family.

He was born on March 16, 1931 in Smithville to Anton, Sr. and Hilda (Arnold) Zerrer and has been a Smithville Resident for all of his life.
He worked in the Meat Processing Dept. with Sheller Meats Co. in Smithville for over 40 years until they closed.
He belonged to the Smithville United Methodist Church and had attended Orrville Grace Brethren Church for many years; in his earlier years, he enjoyed driving his jeeps and pontooning.
He is survived by a sister, Caroline M. Page and his caregiver and niece, Victoria L. "Vickie" Page both of Smithville. A host of several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Anton "Tony" Zerrer and 4 other siblings who died during childhood.
