Obituary for Jo A Rudish

Jo A. Rudish, age 66 of Wooster, passed away, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster following a courageous 10 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He family was by her side.

She was born on August 8, 1950 in Ashland the daughter of John A. and Camille Faith (Hamilton) Sheppard.

Jo was a 1968 Graduate of Ashland High School.

She married Ronald E. Rudish. They were best friends and sole mates for 48 years.

She was a previous Sales Rep. for Season's Ltd. in Ashland for 30 years. Throughout her successful sales career, she was a very well-liked and respected Sales Rep.

She touched the lives of so many people here in the states as well as abroad.

After retiring in 2014, she worked part-time for Lehman's Hardware. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to the YMCA every week and working out with her friends. She also loved decorating her home for the holidays. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and did canning. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, but her greatest love in life was spending quality time with her grandchildren going to movies, water parks, and on a vacation out west.

She is survived by her husband Ron; daughter, Jennifer Troyer (Al) of Apple Creek; sisters, Vickie Bowen (Bo) of Ashland, Susan Boeing of Texas, Leslie Peterson (Steve) of Colarado and a brother, Bill Flammang of Texas; step-mother, Shirley Sheppard of Ashland; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, John Sheppard.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all of her former colleagues.

At her request, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
