Obituary for Michelle Diana Sheppard (Ditmars)
Michelle Diana Sheppard, age 54, of Wooster, went home to go dance with Jesus, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic where she was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 6, 1964 in Wooster to Allan D. and Janet M. (Moorhead) Ditmars and has been a Wayne County resident for all of her life.
Michelle married Mark A. Sheppard on May 15, 1987 in Shreve. He survives.
She had worked as Plant Accountant for ADS, Inc.(Advanced Drainage Systems) in Wooster for over 31 years; was a member of Wooster United Methodist Church where she also served as youth leader; belonged to the Heart Of Ohio Emmaus and Chrysalis Community; was very involved and supportive with her sons lives which also included a Cub Scout Leader. She mostly loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Murphy A. (Laura) Sheppard and Mackenzie A. (Molly) Sheppard all of Wooster; brothers, Michael (Stephanie) Ditmars of Millersburg, Mark (Aimee) Ditmars of Wooster and her faithful canine companion, "Jethro".
Her parents precedes her in death.
Visitation will be Friday at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., in Wooster from 2 -4 and 6 - 8 p.m.
Services will be Saturday, 12:00 p.m. at Wooster United Methodist Church where a visitation will also take place one hour prior (11:00 - 12:00 p.m.) to services. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate followed by interment at Shreve Oak Grove Cemetery.
