Obituary for Carrie M. McCloud (Robinson)

Carrie Mae (Robinson) McCloud [Pelfrey], "Nana", age 70, of Akron and formerly of Wooster, went on to be with our Lord in Paradise, at her home peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Logap, Logan Co., WV on Oct. 17, 1949, to Mildred "Nan" Robison and Albert Robinson.

She loved the Lord with all of her heart and made it her life's mission to encourage everyone around her to do the same. Our mother, our light, our life, our heart. She is a beautiful soul and was an amazing mother, friend and teacher. She loved to read, study and teach from her KJV Bible. She loved to talk about God & the Bible to anyone with a listening ear and an open heart. She taught Sunday School at Creston Baptist Church, her home Church is South Main St. Church of God & she loved to attend services at the Rittman Baptist Church.

She was a leader of the Cub Scouts for her grandchildren and other children. She always loved to help everyone, whether it be cooking, school projects, studying, just having a conversation, sewing, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her loved ones. She left an impression on everyone she met.

She was the second oldest of eighteen children & survived by; V. Zella, Jeannie, "Kitty" (Rosa), Bennie, Karen, Ernie (Norma), Cathy, Faye, Judy, Isabell, Renee, Dill, William and Tony (Bartrum). She was widowed by Frank Sr., and blessed with 5 children; Frankie [Shawn, JR and Shauna], Spring, Shane and Susie (Roger). Five grandchildren [great grandchildren] Shaner [Tyler, Caleb, Colton, Azalea, Cadiam and Nevaeh], her fa-vor-ite & only granddaughter Tiffy (Shane Haudenschild) [Liam, Reilley, Rain, Kaylinn, Skyler, Hunter, Wyatt], Tommy, Charlie bub and Matt-few. Her life long best friend Gloria. Her great grand-dogs Kush-a-puppy, Hauss, and Moochie. Countless friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is reunited in Paradise with her parents, her siblings "Tommy," Pam and Sheila. Her children "June" and Shane. Her brother-in-laws Wallace Ball, Roger White, Rex Woodrum, Arnold Saxton and son-in-laws Davey Freeze and "Chop" Phil Lycans and countless others.

It's also an honor to say, as much as she loved to help people, she is continuing to do so as she walks with Jesus, by her donation of life via LifeBanc.
