Obituary for Charles Leslie "Charlie" Wagar Jr.

Charles "Charlie" Leslie Wagar, Jr., age 50 of Belmont, Ohio and formerly of Wooster, entered into rest on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, West Virginia following a short illness.

He was born September 7, 1969 in Wadsworth to Charles Leslie and Hazel Irene (Wilson) Wager.

Charlie and had been a resident of the Rittman area for many years before moving to Belmont, Ohio in 1983.

For many years, he had worked at the Nick Amster Workshop in Wooster; enjoyed playing basketball and was an avid fisherman; enjoyed listening to country music and loved spending time with his family and especially his brother.

In addition to his beloved mother of Orrville; he is survived by his brother, Andy (Samantha May) Wagar of Orrville; 3 sisters, Joyce (David) Wagar of Wooster, Vickie Wagar of Kentucky, Donna (Aaron) Wiggins of Orrville; 6 nieces, 2 nephews and 3 great-nieces and 2 great nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Wiggins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr. in Wooster.

A memorial service will then take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Don Bolich officiating.

A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
