Obituary for Cher A. Taylor
Cher A. Taylor, age 49, of Wooster, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her residence following a long-term illness.
She was born on March 15, 1973 in San Luis Obispo (SLO), California to Dennis and Kathleen (Moon) Catron.
She had previously lived in the Medina area before moving to Wooster over 20 years ago.
Cher had attended First Baptist Church in Orrville where she also attended Tuesday Church Club; enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, arts, crafts and coloring. She was also very active with the Gilcrest Center in Wooster. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her daughter and close friends whom she loved dearly.
She married Herbert James Taylor, Jr. in Wadsworth on November 20, 2010. He passed away on March 28, 2022.
In addition to her mother of Sacramento, California, she is survived by her daughter, Janaya Jane Taylor- Catron of Cambridge, OH.; step-children, Tiffany Taylor of Maryville, TN and Sean Taylor of Akron, OH.; sister, Jill Beale of Sacramento, CA; brother, David Catron of Southern Pines, NC; Grandmother, Ida Moon of SLO, CA; step-sisters, Holley & Alecia; her special friends, Hattie and Keba Evans of Wooster, OH. and many other family and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, 11:00 AM at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster.
