Obituary for Debra Ann "Debbie" Tankersley (Colter)
Debra "Debbie" Ann Tankersley, age 59 of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital after a short period of declining health.
She was born on September 20, 1961 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Harry and Ella Mae Colter.
She married Jerome "Jerry" P. Tankersley. He survives.
Debbie and had previously lived in the Dayton, Ohio area before moving to Wooster in 2018. She was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents of South Solon, Ohio and her beloved husband, she is survived by her 4 sons, Dale (Shannon) Earls of Texas, Adam Tankersley of Wooster, Brian (Sarah) Tankersley of Millersburg, Cory Tankersley and fiancé, Emily Baker of Wooster; 8 grandchildren and a sister, Elizabeth Colter of London, Ohio.
There will be no public services.
A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
