Dennis A Guthery, 59, died June 28th 2021 at his home. He was the oldest son of Harmon Aaron and Betty Jean [Kelly] Guthery.
He was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on June 9th 1962. He had a younger brother David Kelly Guthery. Dennis graduated from Wooster High School in 1980 and worked for Miller Pipeline of Clyde Ohio and was a machinist most of his life at United Titanium in Wooster for over 30 years retiring due to his health.
He was an avid collector of memorabilia of AC/DC and other heavy metal bands. He greatly enjoyed anything having to do with World War I, World War II, and Vietnam War. He also was interested in NASCAR racing and comic books as well as other oddities. Anyone who knew him knew what "A" stood for as his middle initial. And he would be very easy to tell you that was his character and trademark. He was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
His daughter, Alyssa Williams, survives and was loved beyond words by Dennis. He is also survived by his best friend Larry Bower and Lesa [Bower] Forbes his former wife, who he remained dear friends with until his death. His caregiver and housekeeper Ruby Schrock is also a loved one that is greatly appreciated for her wonderful care and deep dedication to Dennis through everything as his health deteriorated.
Preceding him in death were both of his parents and his brother.
Many family, friends, and dear acquaintances are all over the US.
There will be no services; however, a memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
