Obituary for Donald R. Lamb
Donald Ray Lamb, age 87, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his residence following a period of declining health. His family was by his side.
He was born on June 25, 1933 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to William M. and Dorothy Louise (Davis) Lamb and has been an area resident for most of his life.
He married Mamie I. Lamb on March 31, 1956 in Carrollton. She went home to be with the Lord, on October 26, 2016 in Wooster.
He had previously lived in the New Philadelphia area before moving to the Wooster area in 1965.
He was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness in Wooster.
He received the most joy in life while raising and spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his children, William A. (Theresa) Lamb of Valley City, Oh., Michael W. (Joy) Lamb and Deborah K. (William) Walton all of Wooster; 7 grandchildren; 10 great - grandchildren; and a brother, Max Lamb.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers, William J. Lamb, Larry A. Lamb and sister, Dorothy Graham and a granddaughter, Danielle Lamb.
It was his previous wishes there be no public services or visitation.
A private interment has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
