Eddie W. Goodman, age 70, of West Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Smithville-Western Care Center in Wooster following a short period of declining health.
He was born on March 20, 1951 in Lodi, Ohio to Lester H. and Ethel (Cehrs) Morr and has been a Wayne County resident for most of his life.
He had served in the Army National Guard and worked for Crown Steel as a Metal Finisher for over 30 years.
He is survived by his brothers, Ronnie "Ron" Morr, Lester (Melissa) Morr, Robert Morr all of West Salem, Danny (Kay) Morr of Plain City, and Charles Morr of Mansfield; a sister, Sharon Strait of Wooster and numerous friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Howard and Ethel Goodman who had raised him; brothers, Mervin Stack, Roger Waldron and a sister-in-law, Pamela Moor.
It was his previous wish that there be no public services.
An Service of Committal and inurnment will take place on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wooster with Pastor Chad Palmer officiating.
