James A. Hair, age 64, of Wooster, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster following a long illness.

James was born on January 5, 1956 in Orrville, the son of James and Wanda (Kreakie) Hair.

"Jim" served his country in the U.S. Navy, both stateside and abroad.

After a long career with the Timken Company, he retired in 2015.

Jim was a hard working and passionate husband, father and grandfather.

His hobbies included golf, fishing, hunting, vacationing at the beach and more than anything, spending time with his family.

United in marriage to Martha (Cherry) Hair on December 1, 1979, they shared 40 years together. She survives.

He cherished his family and also leaves behind his children, son Aaron James (Taylor) Hair of Medina and a daughter, Heather Brumley of Louisville, KY; his beautiful grandchildren Megan Brumley, Miriah Edge, Brinley Hair and Brady James Hair; as well as two great-grandchildren Liam and Claire Edge.

The family would like to thank the staff of LifeCare Hospice of Wooster for the love and care shown to Jim (and family) in his final days.

In light of the pandemic, no services will be held, however the family will meet in private on Tuesday, October 27th to say a final goodbye to Jim.
