James F Meadows, 74, of Wooster, died suddenly on October 1, 2021. He was born on June 28, 1947 in Monticello, Kentucky, to John and Beaulah (nee Ramsey) Meadows, and came to the Wooster area in 2005.
James was a retired fleet mechanic with Frontz Drilling, and was able to 'fix anything, anywhere, any time.' An avid motorcyclist, he participated in many charitable rides, including Miracle Ride and Toys for Tots. James also enjoyed fishing, camping, and became friends with anyone he met in his travels all over the United States.
James is survived by daughter Jennifer, brother Glen Allen Meadows, and sisters Irene Hudelson and Loretta Baker, former wife Joan, his long-time close companion Deb Alexander Jackson, and many close nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, son Jamie, brothers John Riley Meadows and Otha Lee Meadows, and sister Mildred Anderson.
Celebrations of his life will be held in Wooster and in New Castle, Indiana, at a later date.
