Obituary for Jennifer Lynn Sayre

Jennifer Lynn Sayre, age 45, of Smithville, passed away Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 28, 1976 in Orrville, Ohio the daughter of Sam and Sue Sayre.

Jennifer graduated in 1994 from Smithville High School and continued her education at Malone University where she graduated with a business and teaching degree in 1998. She then joined the family business full time.

She enjoyed helping with youth groups over the years and mentoring kids. She was the best aunt to her "peanut" Emma Sayre, "monkey" Nick Sayre and "adoptive" niece, Kaylie Holmes. Jen also had a love for her dogs Maddie, Lily and Cooper.

She is survived by her mother, Sue Sayre, brother, Brian (Amber) Sayre, Uncle Mike Sayre, Uncle Tom (Ronel) Beichler, Uncle Mike (Brenda) Beichler, Aunt Deb (Ron) Leach, Aunt Shari (Dennis) Indermuhle and many cousins. She loved her family with all her heart.

She also leaves behind her special friends Kelly, Staci, Pat and Louise.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Sam Sayre who passed away in February 2021, maternal grandparents, Carl and Joanne Beichler, paternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Sayre, an aunt, Loraine Sayre and a cousin, Bryce Indermuhle.

Per Jen's previous request, there will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 20th at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Smithville Cemetery with Pastor James Lance and Aimee Hare officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Wayne County Dog Shelter, 5694 Burbank Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.

The family would like to thank Dr. Arthur and staff at Wooster Community Hospital ICU. We appreciated all that you did.

The most important things to Jennifer was God and her family. She would want you to know Jesus loves you no matter what!
