Now that death has closed my eyes, Forget me - I hope not.
I have lived many years and treasure friends I hold dear.
Like many, my life was filled with joy and tears.
Each day I faced it without a lot of fear for I always knew
my Lord was near.
So my time on this earth is no more
I shall wait for you on the other shore.
