Obituary for Margaret Ann Sigler (Sigler)

Margaret Ann Sigler, age 78, of Wooster, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital following a lengthy period of declining health.

She was born on October 9, 1940 in Loudonville to Harry J. and Zelptha (Etzwiler) Sigler and has been a Wooster resident for most of her life.

She married Arthur R. Sigler, Sr. on July 19, 1961 in Wooster. He survives.

Margaret previously worked for many years as a nurses aide for Smithville-Western Care Center in Wooster.
She then worked for the Wooster Walmart in the Pharmacy Dept. for the next 4 years.

She was a devoted member of Northview Alliance Church in Wooster where she served in many capacities which included the nursery, a Deaconess and helped with the cleaning.

During her youth and into her adulthood, she owned and loved taking care of her horses; enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, sewing and scrapbooking. She mostly loved spending time with her family and numerous friends.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Arthur R. Sigler, Jr., Barb (Duke) Murphy, Sharon (Brian) Bowers and Rita Sigler all of Wooster; grandchildren, Hannah (Brodie) Shire, Patrick, Matthew and Douglas Murphy, Kelsey, Caleb (Caroline Grace) and Tyler Bowers.; 8 great-grandchildren and her best friends and sisters, Bernice Lisle of Wooster, Opal Croskey of Shreve, Bess Yacapraro of West Lafayette, Oh. and Helen (Gary) Weltmer of Fredericksburg, Oh.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 7 brothers, Robert, Roy, Clifford, Howard, Kenneth, Lemoine, and Donald Sigler.

Services will be Friday, 12:00 p.m. at Northview Alliance Church in Wooster with Rev. Geno Colarusso and Rev. Ray L. Pfahler officiating. A private family interment will then follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wooster.

Visitation will be 2 hours (10:00 - 12:00 p.m.) prior to services at the church.
