Obituary for Marshall Hamilton

Marshall F. Hamilton, age 68, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday January 16, 2021 at Avenue At Wooster following a period of declining health.

He was born on December 8, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Raymond W. and Lorena G. (Chenevey) Hamilton and has been a Wooster resident for most of his life.

After graduating from High School , he began working for Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes County before retiring after 40 years of service.

He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster where he also sang in the choir for many years.

Marshall had a gift in many ways with music and songs; enjoyed latch hook; he was a devoted fan for both the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns Football teams; he always had a special connection with babies but he mainly loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sister, Rena (Dennis) Figley of Broken Arrow, OK; many sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his three brothers, Gale, Harlan and Kent Hamilton.

Due to the current pandemic and for the safety of others, there will be private services to take place at the convenience of the family. (The service will be live streamed through the Custer-Glenn FaceBook page on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.).
