Obituary for Mildred W. Blough (Clayton)

Mildred W. Blough, 92 of Wooster passed away at Smithville Western Care Center of complications of Covid-19 on May 11, 2020.

She was born in Lawrenceburg Tennessee on February 10, 1928. She relocated to Canton Ohio as a young lady where she met and married Dale Blough, her husband of 59 years, on September 3, 1960.

She made Paradise Church of the Brethern her church home where she spent the remainder of her life faithfully serving her lord and savior. She served in ladies aide, as a Sunday school teacher and in the nursery.

She is predeceased by her parents Comer and Bertha Clayton, brothers EM Clayton, Ralph Clayton, Dillard Clayton; sisters Belle Sedon, Christine Heckman.

She is survived by her husband Dale Blough, daughter Janet Blough-Black, sons Roger Blough, Gary Blough. Grandchildren Trent (Kaylea) Black, Marissa Blough; sisters Jeanette Clayton, Becky (David) Lang and sister in laws June Clayton, Elizabeth Clayton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mildred’s greatest love was her family and all of her children were proud to call her their mother. She is loved and missed and memories of her will forever be cherished.

Due to current circumstances a private service will be held for immediate family.

Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
