Obituary for Monique K. Overstreet
Monique K. Overstreet, age 26, of Rittman, lost her life-long battle to cystic fibrosis on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. She was surrounded by her family and friends both physically and in thought.
She was born on November 1, 1992 in Cleveland to Rocky C. and Heather A. (Grateful) Overstreet and has been a Wooster and Rittman resident for the last 20 years.
Monique was in the process of pursuing her cosmetology career; she enjoyed fishing and crafts. She mostly loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Tiffany Overstreet of Cleveland, Marlene Overstreet of Lorain and Sean (Xiomara) Overstreet of Parma; maternal grandparents, John and Sharon Shaffstall of North Ridgeville, Ohio; her beloved significant friend, Andrew Schlabach and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Donald L. and Freda "Bonnie" Overstreet.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 1 - 4 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster.
