Obituary

Rose Marie McCormick, 72, of Wooster, passed away Thursday October 14, 2020, at Summa Akron City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Rose Marie was born on February 4, 1948 at Martins Ferry, Ohio, resided in Wooster and recently Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She worked many years at Wayne County restaurants including Burger Chef, Chuck Wagon, and Long John Silvers.

Rose Marie was active in organizations including VFW, Loyal Order of Moose, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She is survived by her husband John, daughter Michelle (Daniel Williamson) of Oregon, sister Twila Baylin of Wooster, niece Gene-Anna Blythe, and grandchildren Cade, Connor, and Chiana Williamson.

In addition to her parents, Rose Marie was preceded in death by an infant brother Marvin Wayne Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr, Wooster, where the family will receive friends (Please practice social distancing and use of masks) one hour prior to the service (11:00-12:00 pm).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Ohio State University Fund for Scholarships.
