Obituary for Shi Chan

Shi S. Chan, 86, of Wooster, passed away at home Tuesday, March 31st, 2021, with her family by her side.

Born in Canton, China, on November 11, 1935, she emigrated to America in 1968 and spent her life as a restauranteur and had been owner\operator of both the Hong Kong and Wild Ginger China Bistro Restaurants in Wooster.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

She is survived by sons Chi (Ling) Lee and Joe Lee, daughters Wah (Chip) Yankello and Rose Chan, grandchildren Cody and Dylan Yankello, and Nicholas and Nathan Lee. Shi was preceded in death by her brother Tom Woo, sister-in-law Kitty Woo, first and second husbands Kai M. Lee and Chi T. Chan.

A private burial has taken place at West Park Cemetery in Cleveland at the convenience of the family.
