I met Tyler in the ACJ. He was leading a bible scripture reading session at the end of the day. His bunk was right beside mine. We would stay up half the night, reading scripture. It was an experience I will treasure forever. He talked about his son often. His love for him. Missing him and his wife. Wanting to be with both of them. He told me of his works with his club in Akron. His deep belief in God. He was a teacher of the Word. It was amazing to me the way words just flowed from his mouth. It was like he had been doing this for a congregation. He worked hard to bring God's word to the men we were with. We held hands and prayed many nights. Every man in the room were holding hands, asking for special prayers for people in their own lives. And if others were not respectful, Tyler made sure they at the least were quiet. Tyler had a gift from the Lord that not all of us have. I hope and pray for Tyler and his loved ones that his short stay on this earth was not in vain. Till we meet again my friend. My God with us all. Michael Pyles
