Obituary for Wayne Troy Riddle

Wayne Troy Riddle, age 74,of Moncks Corner, S.C., entered into rest on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Ohio's Hospice LifeCare in Wooster following a period of declining health. His wife was by his side.

He was born on September 11, 1947 in Powhatan, W.Va.

He served in the US AirForce from 1966 to 1992 before retiring after 26 years of service.

Wayne married Jenna Lee Rohr on December 25, 2010 in Bonneau, S.C. She survives.

Wayne had previously worked as an Electrician for Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC. In 2010, he then worked for the College Of Charleston for many years before his retirement.

Wayne was a Harley Davidson enthusiast who enjoyed all aspects of riding and building his 1973 Shovelhead.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children, Taylor J. Rohr & Codie Soto of Summerville, S.C., Tyler L. Rohr of Wooster, Ohio, Sara & Chris Newberry of Groton, CT. and Daniel Draucker of Greenville, S.C.; 7 grandchildren, Landon & Wayne Newberry, Carter Soto, Clayton Riggs, Sophie Martin, Emberlyn Rohr and Daniel Draucker Jr.; a sister Lois Riddle; Father & Mother-in-law, Hugh & Agnes Rohr of Charleston, S.C.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle & Jody Kline of Goose Creek, S.C. and Elizabeth & Mickey Riggs of Cross, S.C.; Jason Rohr of Summerville,SC and his faithful companions, Rebel & Deuce.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 6 brothers and 1 sister.

There will be a private celebration of his life at the convenience of the family at a later date.
