Obituary for Wilma Lou Moser (Daugherty)

Wilma Lou Moser, age 85, of Wooster, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Ohio's Hospice Life Care Hospice in Wooster after a series of unexplained medical situations. Her family was by her side.

She was born on March 7, 1936 in Baizetown, Ky. to William Hobart and Sarah Frances (Burden) Daugherty and has been an area resident of Wayne County for most of her life.

She married the love of her life, Norman R. Moser in Wooster in 1954. He survives.

At Wilma’s last two jobs, she worked as a Bookkeeper at Gerber Feed Service in Dalton and later was in sales at Smith Dairy for many years before retiring in 1994.

She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Orrville. She enjoyed nature and especially feeding and watching birds; raising flowers in her flower garden and taking long walks. She loved being around people and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Stephen Vincent (Faith) Moser of Columbus, IN. and Rebecca (Brad) Robinson of Creston, OH.; grandchildren, Shannon (Leland, Jr.) Perkinson, Holly (Toby) Terry, Nathaniel (Liana) Robinson, and Elizabeth (Nathan) Winningham; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Garrett, Amelia and Wren Perkinson, Lyric Terry; Ryder Robinson, Sterling and Brooks Winningham and their sister who is due any day; sisters, Doris (Max) Slaughter of Dalton and Hilda Anne Smith of Texarkana, TX.; a good friend, Martha (Jim) Weldon of Massillon; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her pre-born infant grandson, Bradley Stephen Robinson; her twin sisters, Carol Bryant, Carolyn Dawson, her brother, Paul Daugherty who passed away last month and her nephew, Matthew Dawson, who passed away this February.

Services will take place on Friday, June 4th, 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God in Orrville with Pastor Chuck Davis officiating. A luncheon for family and friends will take place immediately following the service at the church.

Visitation will be one hour (9:30 - 10:30 a.m.) prior to services at the church.

Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at 2:30 p.m.
