Obituary for Wilma J. "Willie" Seely (Messenger)

Wilma J. "Willie" Seely, age 87, of Wooster, entered into rest, Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital following a short illness.

She was born on April 28, 1932 in Lost Creek, W. Va. to Elmer and Bonnie (Richards) Messenger.

Wilma moved from Medina County to Wooster in 1986 and previously worked as a waitress for The Shack and also with Leroys in Wooster.

She had attended First Church of God in Wooster and was an area singer with the Unity Singers Women's Group; enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and painting but mostly loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Deb) Young of Clinton, Oh., Bob (Lynn) Young of Burbank, Oh., Randy (Karen) Young of Gautier, MS., John Young of Wooster, Oh., David Young of Diamond, Oh. and Fred Young of Glendo, WY. and Rita (Rob) Rohr of Lucasville, Oh.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Fran) Messenger of Enfield, CT. and a sister, Sue Reusch of Pickerington, Oh. and her former husband, Harold "Harry" Seely of Wooster.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Messenger and a sister, JoAnn Serwatka.

It was her previous wishes that there be a private celebration of her life to be held at the convenience of the family.
