Obituary for Nancy J. Horacek

Nancy J. Horacek, age 67, of Wooster, entered into rest Monday, October 12, 2015, unexpectedly at her residence.
She was born on October 23, 1947 in Cleveland to Charles and Helen (Motika) Hicks.
She had grown up in the Cleveland area and graduated from West Technical High School.
She married James C. Horacek on September 18, 1963. He entered into rest on March 18, 2010.
She had worked for the Stauffer Corporation in Solon for 30 years before retiring and then moving to Wooster in 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise (James) Pertee of Sterling, Oh.; her 5 grandchildren that called her "mema", Elizabeth Buckholz, Erica and Wil Rivera, Nicole Guthrie and Jennifer Wigal; her 9 great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Gabriella Rivera, Scarlet and Lincoln Guthrie, Ethan and Makenzie Buckholz, Aubrey Willig, Gracey and Gwen Wigal; a brother, Charlie E. (Gloria) Hicks of Columbia Station, Oh. and sisters, Carol (Don) Anderson of AZ., Helen V. (Ron) Glashauckas of Cleveland and Laurie Hicks of Middleburg Heights, Oh.; a dear friend, Linda Kamonsky of Macedonia, Oh.; her many Wild Wood Lakes Campground friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by an aunt, Mary Polkovich.
A Celebration of Life visitation will take place on Friday from 4 - 9 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Wadsworth where all family and friends are invited to attend.
A private family interment will take place at Sterling Cemetery at a later date.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
