Laura Eads

Mr. Moore was my voice teacher many years ago at Indiana University. He was a masterful technician and great encourager, and was a pivotal part of my growth as a singer and musician. To this day, I still use many of the exercises and techniques I learned from him. I also took a vocal literature class with him, and still use the books from his class in my own teaching. On a personal note, I still have a hand-written letter he sent to me regarding my singing and how to improve as a performer. On the envelope, it is addressed to "The Incomparable Laura White". Though I hardly consider myself "incomparable", Mr. Moore always made me feel that way when I was in my voice lessons. I am truly sorry for your loss. Mr. Moore was a great teacher, and a great man. I pray that your family will be comforted by special memories of him, and by the love and support of family and friends. With deepest sympathy, Laura Eads
