Obituary for Norma J. Orr
Norma J. Orr, age 82, of Wooster, entered into rest, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Hospice of Medina County in Medina following a period of declining health.
She was born on March 5, 1932 in Wooster to Raymond C. and Irma E. (Forgy) Orr and was a Wooster resident for all of her life.
She previously worked for the former Jewell Box, Wooster Products and then Mr. Wiggs stores in Wooster. She most recently worked for the True Value store in Wooster where she enjoyed stocking products.
Before graduating from High School, she enjoyed playing Clarinet. Throughout her life she loved to listen to music; collected many types of glass wear and had a passion with talking to people on the telephone.
She is survived by a brother, Merle (Mary) Orr of West Salem; a nephew, James (Anna) Orr of West Salem; 3 nieces, Janet Orr of Burbank, Julie Orr and Elaine Orr both of West Salem.
Her parents died previously.
It was her wishes there be a private family interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg.
There will be no visitation.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
The family wishes to especially thank and extend a deep appreciation for the Burbank Parke Center in Burbank, and Hospice Of Medina County for all of the excellent attention and loving care she received.
