Dear Jeff, Brandon and Liz Pickard, Bree and Cameron Higgins, Becca, Caleb, and Nicole, Their are only two women in this life whom I ever loved deeply for all eternity. My wife and Patricia Miller Pickard. It was my honor to be her fiancé and almost her husband. We met a Northwestern College in Roseville and it was love at first sight. Patty was a sweet, loving, and exceptional woman of faith. To all who knew her a thoughtful, loyal, and caring friend. I have never forgotten her and I never will. It warms my heart to know that she had a wonderful life filled with loving family and friends. That was her wish. Before ANY OF YOU WERE BORN or a part of the family SHE LOVED YOU WITH ALL OF HER HEART - I know this - that was Patty. You are Patty's treasures and her legacy now lives on in you. While the Lord has taken her home physically - through honor and remembrance she is with you forever. I am sorry my message comes late - I only found out about her passing this morning. She was far too young and none of us were ready to see her go. I share in your pain and grief. Your family will always be in my prayers. Take solace in knowing that she is in the presence of God and this is not a final goodbye - rather - until we meet again. God Bless You All - I will always remember her and love her to the end of my days. Dale Helm 3-17-17
