Obituary for Angela A. Bonewitz

Angela A. Bonewitz, age 94, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Shady Lawn Health Care Community in Dalton following a period of declining health.

She was born on June 25, 1922 in Wooster to Carlo & Nickolina (Tomassetti) Nolletti and has been a Wayne County resident for all of her life.

She married Howard L. Bonewitz on June 15, 1946. He went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2009.

She previously had worked for the former Buckeye Aluminum Co. (Regal Ware) as an Inspector for 10 years; also with the former Moores Bakery and Gano's Restaurant.

She was a member of the First Church of God in Wooster; was a nature lover who enjoyed bird watching, walks in the woods and loved gardening and raising flowers. She mostly loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Gary M. Bonewitz of Wooster, Robert E. (Angela) Bonewitz of Rittman and Shirley A. (Gary) Smetzer of Pataskala, Oh.; grandchildren, Renee (Neil) Britton of Pataskala, Oh. and Christa (John) Siladie of Highlands Ranch, Co.; great-grandchildren, Carson and Logan Britton, Adrain, Preston, Kellen and Mason; a step-grandson, Justin Nydegger; 2 brothers, James (Laura) Nolletti and John (Lois) Nolletti all of Wooster; 4 sisters, Lucille Gordon of Wichita Falls, Tx., Mary Bartley of Mansfield, Oh., Evelyn (Richard) Smith and Katherine (Paul) Gallo all of Wooster.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by 5 brothers, Pasquale, Lewis, Arthur, Ralph and Dominic Nolletti and 5 sisters, Virginia Kasper, Elizabeth Larrocina, Antionette Clouse, Rosemary Angrisani and an infant sister, Theresa Nolletti.

Services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster with Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating followed by interment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.

Visitation will be one hour (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Oh. 44691.
